There are more than 105,000 Australians who find themselves homeless each night of the year. Just under half of these are women; a quarter are under the age of 18.
Participants in the Vinnies Community Sleepout on Thursday 29th June 2017 will experience what it is like to be homeless for a night.
The Vinnies Community Sleepout is not only to raise funds, but raise awareness of homelessness. Our goal is not just to service the homeless, but to bring about an end to homelessness. With your help we can fight the issue of homelessness together.
On the night, participants are offered a sheet of cardboard for your bed, a cup of soup and a warm drink.
Funds raised will support homeless services in the Sunshine Coast region.
